Consensus Global Interviewers

Our interviewers are not typical of those found in the market research industry. Typically, they are highly educated and experienced graduates of whom we are so proud that we have no qualms taking them along to client business meetings! We find this the most effective way of demonstrating to our clients that they really are a breed apart.

Peter Birch
As a graduate of the Webber Douglas School of Dramatic Arts, Peter has had a long and varied acting career, and he now uses his talents in two roles. He is involved in role playing/improvising business scenarios with senior managers from firms such as Deloitte & Touche and BAe. Luckily for us, he devotes most of his time to his other career, as one of our senior interviewers. Peter trained in research at Harris in the 1980s, and joined Consensus shortly afterwards: he has been with us ever since. Peter is an expert in the financial services, and works on the full range of our projects, including qualitative and quantitative, telephone and face-to-face. In particular, Peter carries out sensitive interviews with key purchase decision makers, where he plays the role of ambassador for the research client company brand.

Caryl Skelton
Although now based near Valencia, Caryl is still one of our foremost business telephone interviewers. Caryl studied English at London University, and then studied law. Upon qualifying, she decided to make her career in commerce and marketing, and has since worked in a wide range of senior level business roles. At one stage she worked with Hay Management Consultants in charge of its Board financial incentives team, before going on to work in the public relations industry, first as a Board member at Green Moon, and then as a founder/manager of Flare Public Relations. Caryl has been with Consensus for the past six years, and uses her expertise on all matters financial to achieve and deliver on complex and demanding interviews with senior business audiences such as CFOs and Fund Managers.
