Our interviewers are not typical of those found in the market research industry.
Typically, they are highly educated and experienced graduates of whom we are
so proud that we have no qualms taking them along to client business meetings!
We find this the most effective way of demonstrating to our clients that they
really are a breed apart.
Peter Birch
As a graduate of the Webber Douglas School of Dramatic Arts,
Peter has had a long and varied acting career, and he now
uses his talents in two roles. He is involved in role playing/improvising
business scenarios with senior managers from firms such as
Deloitte & Touche and BAe. Luckily for us, he devotes
most of his time to his other career, as one of our senior
interviewers. Peter trained in research at Harris in the 1980s,
and joined Consensus shortly afterwards: he has been with
us ever since. Peter is an expert in the financial services,
and works on the full range of our projects, including qualitative
and quantitative, telephone and face-to-face. In particular,
Peter carries out sensitive interviews with key purchase decision
makers, where he plays the role of ambassador for the research
client company brand.
Caryl Skelton
Although now based near Valencia, Caryl is still one of our
foremost business telephone interviewers. Caryl studied English
at London University, and then studied law. Upon qualifying,
she decided to make her career in commerce and marketing,
and has since worked in a wide range of senior level business
roles. At one stage she worked with Hay Management Consultants
in charge of its Board financial incentives team, before going
on to work in the public relations industry, first as a Board
member at Green Moon, and then as a founder/manager of Flare
Public Relations. Caryl has been with Consensus for the past
six years, and uses her expertise on all matters financial
to achieve and deliver on complex and demanding interviews
with senior business audiences such as CFOs and Fund Managers.
Paul
Low
Fluent
in German, Paul's six years' experience in high-level interviewing
has made him a specialist in recruiting and conducting interviews
with senior professionals across many sectors that include
Finance and Government. His technical background - Paul is
currently studying for a CCNA (network administration) qualification
- help s to explain why he excels in IT and Telecoms
research studies. Paul has worked as an actor, and uses his
acting and creative skills in role-playing based training
for professionals within sectors such as Law, Accountancy,
Medicine and The Police; Paul continues to conduct ad hoc
training on behalf of the College of Law.
Lila
Lubin
Lila,
who trained with a psychologist in market research interviewing
techniques, has been working as an interviewer for 20 years.
She specialises in B2B qualitative research and is
both an excellent depth interviewer and focus group moderator.
Lila has built up specialist knowledge
in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance and Pensions),
IT and Telecoms; she has also worked on projects for
a several leading players in Accountancy and Law. Lila
has conducted interviews with senior personnel throughout
Europe and the US, and has also worked in India and APAC.
A graduate in Art History who used
to work in the Electronics industry, Lila is both creative
and technically-minded.
Oliver
Didolff
Oliver,
who is bilingual in German and English, has been a professional
market research interviewer for four years. Although
he has a broad range of sector experience, his focus has always
been in B2B research, both qualitative and quantitative, particularly
in Finance, Consultancy, IT and Telecoms. Oliver is both an
excellent recruiter and interviewer. He is also a signed
singer songwriter with a couple of records under his belt!
Takako
Hachisuka
Takako
is a highly skilled interviewer, whose work in market research
as a supervisor and quality controller informs her understanding
of project dynamics and timetabling. She specialises in IT
and Finance sector research. Takako is bilingual in English
and Japanese, and she also works as a translator for big name
clients in many sectors. Takako has a cosmopolitan background
- she has, for instance, worked both as a beauty technician
and Head Chef - and her appreciation of different cultures
and of social issues also helps her to engage potentials respondents,
to recruit them and to hold interesting and informed discussions.
